ECONOFIX-10 a complete fireside treatment for boilers. It may save Rs. 27,000/- per year for every tonne of steam, generated per hour by maintaining the fireside surfaces of boiler.

ECONOFIX-10 a chemical formulation for total fireside cleaning of combustion deposits, contains dispersants, combustion catalysts, oxidising chemicals and corrosion inhibitions.
ECONOFIX-10 is a free flowing powder, non toxic and safe to handle and is fed directly into furnace while boiler is in operation. ECONOFIX-10 offers following advantages.

The reduction in conductivity can be related to reduction in efficiencies.

Sooting, clinker and other combustion deposits are common fireside occurrences in boiler and thermic

fluid heater installations. Such deposits have to be cleaned manually by brushing, scouring or by chemical action which leaves much to be desired. The cleaning is almost never perfect and cannot reach certain sections of the heating surface which have poor accessibility. The adhesive properties oi unburnt carbon results in the build-up oi incombustible solids and boiler effciency. The carbon acts as a thermal barrier reducing heat transfer on the heat transfer surfaces.

HOW ECONOFIX - 10 REACTS

When the chemicals enter the high temperature zone, they vapourise and deposit as a thin film on the

relatively cooler surfaces of the furnace. The combustion catalysts reduce the ignition temperature of the adhering carbon pemitting to burn at reduced temperatures. Oxidising agents provide the oombustion oxygen. This action exposes the bare metal of the heat exchanger. The corrosion inhibitors protect the metal from corrosion by acids produced during combustion and prevent scale formation due to metal oxidation.

DOSAGE PROCEDURE

ECONOFIX-10 in administered by introducing it into the Furnace while the Boiler or Heater is in operation.
FOR OIL FIRED BOILERS AND HEATERS - MANUAL FIRED :
Switch off burner and remove the Oil needle valve or burner gun. For this operation the burner has to be Shut Off,
for about ten minutes. If the Boiler has multiple Furnaces or Flues. the dosage of ECONOFIX-10 has to be distributed evenly among the furnaces. FOR COAL FIRED BOILERS AND HEATERS - MANUAL FIRED : Wait tor the Flame to die Out after the fresh Coal has been charged and when only embers are glowing, feed ECONOFIX-10 as evenly as possible into the furnace. Shut the furnace doors without feeding coal for about ten minutes. The Boiler or Heater may be fired normally after that. FOR COAL FIRED BIOLERS AND HEATERS - STROKE FIRED : ECONOFIX-10 should be placed into the furnace one third the distance from the coal feeding end. The stoker may be operated normally.
